Come as You Are<\/a> by Emily Nagoski – I love when science comes together with pleasure.<\/strong> “It’s an essential exploration of why and how women\u2019s sexuality work<\/strong>, that will radically transform your sex life<\/strong> into one filled with confidence and joy<\/strong>.” This book moved my world and I recommend it for all genders to (finally) understand how female pleasure works. What role context plays in arousal, desire, and orgasm?<\/strong> What is the most important factor for women in creating and sustaining a fulfilling sex life? The best part is that it is based on groundbreaking research and science. What else I got? I’m beautiful, I’m normal, I’m unique. And…….I love sex.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The 5 Love Languages<\/a> by Gary Chapman – Have you ever expected something from your partners they should figure out by themselves but it never happened? Example: She expects flowers while he is repairing her car instead, or he wants to spend quality time outside while she is craving for his physical touch. We do love differently, we speak several love languages,<\/strong> sometimes exactly the opposite as our partner. Would you like to understand yours or your partner\u2019s language?<\/li>\n\n\n\n

The State of Affairs<\/a> by Esther Perel – This book is a gift, provocative though at first, providing a daring framework for understanding the intricacies of love and desire.<\/strong> She looks at infidelity with a fresh perspective, which helps healing, overcoming, and building trust again. Why do people cheat<\/strong>\u2014even those in happy marriages? Why does an affair hurt so much? Do our romantic expectations of long-term partnership set us up for betrayal? Is it possible to love more than one person at once?<\/strong> When to tell the partner? Can an affair ever help a marriage? How to end up an affair? How to save your relationship afterward?<\/strong> Esther is exploring these and more questions based on real-life case stories. What I learned is that forgiveness doesn’t mean that I approve of what he\/she did. Forgiveness brings peace<\/strong>, relief, acceptance of life as it is, and allowing myself to be vulnerable again. It’s more for myself than for the other person, so I can be free from experience. I don’t carry that pain and hurt anymore in the upcoming partnerships. Forgiving is a gift one gives oneself.<\/strong> I understand it needs time, and at the beginning, I can only do it partially.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
